Jordan went in for his tonsil surgery on May 7th. It was so cute to hear him answering the nurses questions. "What did you have for breakfast?" Jordan's response "I didn't have breakfast." or "Do you know what you are here for?" Jordan's response, "I am getting my tonsils out!" He just seemed so old as he took on the challenge of the unknown. The surgery went well. The doctor told us the tonsils and adnoids were blocking 90% of his airway. This made me feel better about the decision to have them out. They took his tube out of his ear as well and had to put a patch on it to help the hole heal better. He has been such a trooper these past couple days. He doesn't complain of a sore throat but fights us often on his medicine!! He has eaten lots of popsicles and slushes as well as scrambled eggs and cottage cheese. After these next couple weeks pass I hope to see a lot of change in his breathing! Way to go buddy and way to be strong!

I can only imagine how sweet that must have been to see your little boy being so brave for something that even makes adults nervous! Glad he's doing well now!
Ugh. Poor little guy. Glad everything went well though. I love the lei that you two made for Justin's graduation. You'll have to teach me how to do it sometime. It looked really cool. Congratulations to Kinsey for getting baptized. We are sorry we couldn't make it. She sure looked pretty in her white dress! Hope all is well.
