My Sweet Grandma Estelle

There was an amazing seahorse exhibit at the aquarium.
Did you know that in the seahorse family males get pregnant and give birth?

Perfect photo opportunity!

An amazing place with so much to see!

Our family loved spending time at the beach!

Seriously what's not to love?

Randy dedicated the sand to Nicole, how sweet!!

Grandma Estelle, Aunt Jenny, Aunt Lindy, Kinsey and Jordan at the Library standing on bricks Grandma put our names on through sizeable donations.

My Grandma lives in California and is one of the most unselfish, generous, giving people I have ever known. At least a couple times each year I will open my mailbox to find a letter from Grandma...for no occasion. In these letters she always says work has been doing great and I want to share some of our extra money with you. She never expects anything in return but purely wants to make life more comfortable for us. Every time we have recieved this money and felt so blessed as the money seemed to come just as we were needing a little more. This happened yet again a letter was recieved with a substantial amount of money and Randy and I decided we would use the money to take a road trip over the next 3 day weekend to visit her. We called her to tell her we were coming and she booked us a hotel and when we arrived she had fruit and food for the kids placed in the room. She had bought us tickets to go to the aquarium and payed for every meal while we were there. She showered us with gifts at her home and as we were saying our goodbyes she gave us an envelope with more money. I think we actually took home even more money than we spent that weekend. We enjoyed so much our visit with her and are so amazed at her endless generosity. We are so grateful for her example and hope one day we can spoil our Grandkids and teach them about generosity in the same ways she has taught us.

What a great post! Last month I was standing in those same spots as I see in your photos! Love Love Love Monterey!!!! Amelia will most likely be going there for school next fall. Great post about a great woman and you deserve every bit of her generosity.
