September 24th was our Anniversary, it's official we have been married 10 years now! To celebrate, we went on a 7 night cruise to Mexico! We were able to spend a lot of time doing really fun things and enjoyed every minute we had together. With exception of the one phone call Nicole made to her friend Cat, to check on the kids, she lost control of her emotions and then took a couple hours to stop crying. We spent time swimming with dolphins, something each of us had always wanted to do. We slept in and stayed up late going to shows each night. We laid in the sun and ate ice cream cones on the deck. We shopped for souveniers at ports. We watched the sunset in the Pacific ocean and saw flying fish every time we stepped out on our balcony. We had great people at our assigned dinner table that we laughed and laughed with each night. We did at least 16 ziplines between a beautiful canyon in Puerto Vallarta. What a fun adventure this was and what awesome memories we created! A funny side note: Randy was told this joke over and over again throughout our trip by people cruising for vacation, the cruise staff and even residents in mexico...it got to be funnier every time someone new said it to us. Just because it was so random. "Being married 10 years must have gone by quickly for you two?" And while we responded yes!, they would look to Randy and say, " it feels like 1 minute...under the water." During our 10 years together we have had times that have definetly been hard and trials we have faced that have brought us even closer to each other and helped us to learn more about one another. We treasure the time we have spent together and are so excited for the journey of our next 10 years.

My Grandma lives in California and is one of the most unselfish, generous, giving people I have ever known. At least a couple times each year I will open my mailbox to find a letter from Grandma...for no occasion. In these letters she always says work has been doing great and I want to share some of our extra money with you. She never expects anything in return but purely wants to make life more comfortable for us. Every time we have recieved this money and felt so blessed as the money seemed to come just as we were needing a little more. This happened yet again a letter was recieved with a substantial amount of money and Randy and I decided we would use the money to take a road trip over the next 3 day weekend to visit her. We called her to tell her we were coming and she booked us a hotel and when we arrived she had fruit and food for the kids placed in the room. She had bought us tickets to go to the aquarium and payed for every meal while we were there. She showered us with gifts at her home and as we were saying our goodbyes she gave us an envelope with more money. I think we actually took home even more money than we spent that weekend. We enjoyed so much our visit with her and are so amazed at her endless generosity. We are so grateful for her example and hope one day we can spoil our Grandkids and teach them about generosity in the same ways she has taught us.

Kinsey started third grade and Jordan is in preschool. They are growing up so quickly and doing so well with learning. Nicole thought with Jordan in school she would have extra time on her hands and decided to start Piano lessons(A life long dream). Randy was very supportive of this idea and bought a Clavinova keyboard for her, of course he plays it better and enjoys learning new songs but Nicole is learning and loving the experience. Nicole celebrated her 30th birthday with a surprise Luau party thrown by her friend, Cat. Randy spoiled her for her birthday with a wheat grinder to persue her bread making hobby. Nicole was then called into the Primary Presidency and assigned to write the Sacrament Program. Nicole's "extra time" has been quickly passing with bread making, piano lessons, nurturing children and a church calling. She wouldn't change anything about it and loves her life. Randy is doing excellent at work he really enjoys it and has seemed to have found his nitch in life. We couldn't be happier at the Farnsworth home.

Summer ended so quickly. We had the opportunity to spend time at Lagoon as a family. We also spent time at Tibble Fork Reservoir, Fishing and Four wheeling, with our Cousin Corrine. Then Randy took the Kids Motorcycling with their Uncle Eric and Cousins, Trevor and Matthew.
