Kinsey is a breakfast lover. Every morning she wants me to make her breakfast and in her words, NOT CEREAL. I was talking with a friend about how important this is to her and the friend suggested I teach her to make her own breakfast. This way on the days I am getting ready to head out the door too and would have thrown cereal at her she could be responsible for making her own breakfast. What a simple and grand idea. So, Randy and I taught her to make an omlet on Sunday morning. Then Monday morning she woke up and made an omlet for herself and Tuesday morning she made an omlet for both her and I. She is loving the feeling of responsibility and the ability she has to take care of herself. All this resolution in such a simple perspective from a friend.
