Kinsey's Piano Decision

Kinsey was flattered by her piano teacher today...telling me what a great job she will do at her recital and how much she loves teaching Kinsey. Kinsey was beaming with excitement. But, even with all the compliments Kinsey informed me on the way home that she thinks she needs to quit Piano. "Why" I asked. This was Kinsey's response, "My teacher said, playing the piano effects my lungs!" I knew exactly what she was thinking. Not long ago I stopped her at a quit smoking booth at a hockey game. The booth showed a healthy lung and then the "effect" of a smokers lung. It was disgusting and really discouraged her from wanting to smoke. So, Kinsey automatically assumed her lungs were going to have a negative effect from playing piano! She was freaked out and knew she had to quit until I explained to her that it was going to be a healthy "effect" on her. She has decided it will be just fine to keep playing the piano!

Hey! How are you guys? Long time, no talk! I hope you are doing great. That's funny about Kinsey's piano lung thing...and tell her awesome job on the grades! By the way, fabulous talks. I read through them and think I need to set some goals...and stick to them! Thanks for sharing that on your blog.

Yep, it was probably me. I get my hair done by a lady that lives right by the nursing home and I was just there a little bit ago. That's funny. Well, I can go to lunch pretty much any day before 12:30. I would love that. Just let me know!

I love that! How awesome that she was going to quit piano to save the lungs! Kinsey made our day bringing over the sweet note and apricot nectar. We love you guys.
